THE NEW WINTER TREND
Steinbach GluehBIERMix is an extraordinary beer specialty, to be enjoyed cold but above all hot. Mulled beer is not a hot Pilsner, black beer or wheat, but is made on the basis of an extraordinary bock beer in a process that takes months.
The Production
When the time for harvest comes, our master brewer adds cherries to the bock beer. The beer then matures for several months until it acquires its typical reddish color and fruity taste. Winter spices are fermented further with the bock beer and thus give off their entire aroma to the beer. This allows the sweet character to come into its own. The result is the soothing and full-bodied Steinbach GluehBIERMix!
Serving of Drinks
Gluehbier is either made with a "flow heater" at 70°C tapped or warmed from the practical cans in the pot or in the microwave. It smells like Christmas, is not as sweet as mulled wine and yet mild and digestible. The Gluebier is to be seen as a tasty alternative to mulled wine. As it has so far mainly been offered at Christmas markets in Germany, this traditional product is a real attraction and is gaining more and more fans from year to year. Gluehbier becomes a trend when hot drinks are served in cool temperatures.
